This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data when you use the mAInd mobile application or our related websites and services (collectively, the “Service”). By using mAInd, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

We use your personal data for the following purposes:
• To provide and personalize the Service;

• Performance of a contract, to deliver the Service you requested;
• Legitimate interest, for analytics, improvement, and security.
You may withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account or contacting us (see Section 10).
 
5. Third-Party Services and AI Providers
To deliver AI-powered experiences, we may rely on secure third-party processors, including but not limited to:
• OpenAI (text and conversation generation)
• ElevenLabs (voice synthesis)
• Supabase (database and authentication)
• Vercel (hosting and web infrastructure)
• Google Analytics / Firebase (usage analytics)
All such providers are bound by contractual data-protection agreements and process data only on our behalf.
Data may be transferred internationally, to UAE-based or other partners including the United States or European Union, under adequate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and GDPR-compliant exceptions.
 
6. Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined above, unless longer retention is required by law.
• User accounts: until deletion by the user or 12 months of inactivity;
• Technical logs: up to 6 months;
• Aggregated or anonymized data may be stored indefinitely.
You may request deletion at any time (see Section 10). Anonymized AI data may be retained indefinitely for research and system improvement.
 
7. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit and at rest, access control, and regular audits, to protect data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no online service can guarantee absolute security. You use mAInd at your own risk.
Special security measures are applied for AI model access logs to prevent unauthorized inference of user data.
8. Children’s Privacy
mAInd is not intended for individuals under the age of 16.
We do not knowingly collect or process data from minors.
If you believe a child has provided data, please contact us for immediate deletion.
 
9. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., EU, UK, UAE, USA), you may have the right to:
• Access and receive a copy of your personal data;
• Rectify or erase inaccurate data;
• Withdraw consent;
• Object to or restrict processing;

mAInd is an AI-powered digital companion designed to promote mindfulness, focus, and emotional balance. It is not a medical, therapeutic, or diagnostic tool.
The content generated by AI models is for informational and motivational purposes only. mAInd does not provide medical advice, psychiatric assessment, or treatment.
You should never disregard or delay seeking professional help from qualified healthcare providers because of content generated within the app.
If you experience emotional distress or crisis, please contact local emergency services or mental-health helplines.
AI outputs are generated algorithmically; do not rely solely on them for decisions affecting health, finances, or legal matters.
 
12. International Data Transfers
Your data may be processed or stored in the United Arab Emirates, the European Union, the United States, or other international locations, depending on the service components used.
We ensure appropriate safeguards, such as contractual commitments and data minimization, for all cross-border transfers.
